play365 is the perfect place for moms, dads, boys and girls to get their game on. Whether it’s soccer, basketball or baseball, the sports league has something for every family.

BERKELEY, Calif. -- During 2002, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks challenged herself to write a play each day for a year. She completed the project and now University Players, a local theater company, is taking some of those plays for a test drive.

Merritt says some of the Play365 are linked thematically and others not so much. But he also says there’s one play — a short piece about Abraham Lincoln — that stands out among the rest. That play will open Friday night. Here’s a preview.
